Set of Five Neapolitan Glass Apothecary Jars early 1900s

A set of four early 20th Century Italian transparent glass apothecary jars and one large blue apothecary bottle found in Naples. The beautiful large blue bottle with glass cap has the original label Malva (mallow) while each glass apothecary jar Assenzo (absinthe), Oppio (Opium), Malva (mallow), Salvia (sage). They were originally used for storing these medicinal remedies. Note that there are infact two pairs of transparent glass apothecary jars - one pair has an elegant and ornate high cap and one pair has a shorter lid. This collection would look wonderful in a loggia or country home.
