The Italian Sculptor, Artist and Writer, Pietro Consagra was born in Milan in 1930 and died in 2005. He is one of Italy's most famous modern abstract artists. His pieces are on show all over the world in the collections of some of the foremost modern art museums including Moma New York, The Tate Modern London and The Georges Pompidou in Pairs.
This pair of beautiful black and white abstract prints are both signed Consagra 41/50 and 43/50 respectively. We were incredibly lucky to find these pieces together with another of his prints that we also have sale, in a market in Emilia Romagna.
