Part of an exceptional private collection of fruit and vegetable themed Italian ceramics collected over a 30 year period from the 1940s to the 1970s in Northern Italy. This 1950s 'Pomodoro Zuppiera' or 'Tomato Tureen' is the hero of the collection. Perfect for serving soup or vegetables or for a wonderful centerpiece in a country kitchen table. It has a wonderful leaf lid and a gap for the ladle.
