Set of Three 1940s Glass Picture Frames attributed to Fontana Arte

A glorious set of three glass picture frames found in a private home in Tuscany. These 1940s / early 1950s glass frames have been attributed to Fontana Arte and are typical of the glassware made by Fontana Arte at this time. The set consists of an equal pair of two smaller frames, they have glass front, glass back and robust glass leg stand. The picture or photo is held in place by two decorative metal bolts. The larger frame has a similar form except that the back leg sits vertically behind the frame. The glass at the back is also slightly greener than the glass at the front. All three frames were bought from their original owner in Florence and are in extremely good condition.
