Deep Purple hand-blown Murano glass bowl by Flavio Poli. This piece was hand-blown in Murano, Venice at the Seguso furnace using the sommerso technique. Flavio Poli was the Artistic Director of Seguso Vetri D'Arte, the renowned Venetian Glassware house in Murano from 1934 to 1963. Poli was one of the most influential 20th century Murano glassware designers, his pieces are now displayed in both Moma in New York and the Murano Glass Museum in Venice. This piece is in excellent condition.
