Very large and important Ottavio Missoni tapestry made in collaboration with Saporiti, Italia. Ottavio Missoni (together with his wife was the Founder of Missoni, the luxury brand). This superb piece is hand knitted colourful woolen Missoni style patchwork. The piece was made in the 1980s and found in Turin, Italy. It is mounted on a large wooden frame with attachments for wall installation on the back. It would look spectacular in an airy urban apartment or elegant sitting room anywhere in the world. Missoni is one of Italy's most famous luxury clothing and homeware brands and Saporiti is the renowned Italian design and furniture company. The arazzo (tapestry) has both original labels Saporiti Italia and Missoni. It is in good condition with some signs of age.
