Signed early 1800s Sicilian Bowl

This beautiful Sicilian shallow bowl was made in the early 1800s. It has been hand-painted with a beautiful bird and pattern around the rim. The initials M.H.V of the artist who made it have been painted on the side. This shallow bowl was found in a private home where it was mounted on a wall alongside other important pieces. It has the original metal mount still attached that can be removed if desired. This piece looks magnificent alongside the two other blue and white plates pictured.
