Large cream glazed Acquaiolo made in the mid 1800s in Umbria and found in a palazzo in Amelia. This extra large acquaiolo was made for decorative purposes and has a distinctive brown swoosh on the front. It was found in a Palazzo in Amelia. This piece is over 150 years old and shows some signs of age including minor chips and scratches. Acquaioli were originally made to hold water or wine, this is an beautiful and historic example that would suit a grand country home or kitchen.
