Set of Five Early 1900s Neapolitan Glass Apothecary Jars

Sale price€1.200,00

A set of Five early 20th Century Italian hand-blown transparent glass apothecary jars found in Naples. Each glass apothecary jar has an elegant removable lid and its original hand written label with Timo (Thyme), Menta (Mint), Salvia (Sage), Anice, (Aniseed) & Senna (Cassia). They were originally used for storing these medicinal remedies but have recently been used to store paint powder hence their pinkish hue. I have left the paint powder on as I love the wonderful colour it gives them but the new owner could ofcourse clean them up. This set would look wonderful in a loggia or country home.

Glass Apothecary Jars: H39cm x W14cm x D14cm
