1960s Triple Sommerso Purple and Pink Spherical Bowl

Superb triple sommerso (submerged in the three layers of glass) hand-blown Murano glass bowl. The inner core is deep purple submerged in a layer of pink glass and finally a layer of transparent glass. A beautifully designed spherical bowl which could be used as an ashtray as there is a lip for a cigarette. Excellent condition.
