A wonderful pair of plexiglass ornaments designed by Willy Rizzo (1928 -2013) for Metal Art in the 1970s. A suspended gold orb sits within each ornament. They can be used as purely decorative pieces or as bookends. Willy Rizzo was a renowned Italian photographer who became an international furniture designer in the 1960s and 70s catering to the first international jet set. His furniture, lights and sculptural objects have become important collectors items. An exceptional find.
