These sculptural 1950s stools designed by Gio Ponti for Cassina, model 687, showcase his distinctive architectural lines and beautifully tapered walnut frame. Newly reupholstered by us here in Florence in bouclé fabric. The open, Y-shaped side structure gives them a light, graphic presence while remaining incredibly comfortable and usable as low seating. A collectible Ponti design, this pair is perfect for design collectors and those seeking iconic Italian mid‑century pieces.
