1950s Tomasso Barbi Round Murano Glass Picture Frame
A very rare Murano Glass circular cream picture frame with gentle gold accents. This piece was made in the 1950s by the renowned designer, Tomasso Barbi. It is particularly unusual on account of its glass leaf detail completing the glass circle. (Many pieces of this design, use a metal detail to close the glass). The frame was found in a private home, is in very good condition and is signed Tomasso Barbi on the back. This would also make for a very pretty mirror if the new owner chooses to place a piece of round mirror in the frame instead of glass.
