A very large original twisted Murano Glass frame and mirror hand-blown in the 1940s by the Venetian furnace, Seguso. The frame is stamped, Seguso, Vetri D'Arte, Murano on the base of the stand. It is increasingly rare to find these original pieces and this piece is particularly lovely.

Please note this piece does have one restoration. In the top right hand corner, the frame had a fissure that was repaired by our 'moleria' here in Florence. A fissure is still evident when inspected closely but now does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. This imperfection is reflected in the price. It is very unusual to still find such a large and original frame of this nature by Seguso from the 1940s.
