A large hand-blown Murano glass 'sommerso' (submerged hand-blown glass) spherical bowl. This stunning piece has a dark red core and green surround. It sits on a flat base at an angle and can be used purely as decoration or 'tasca vuota' (literally an empty pocket) or indeed as an ashtray. The bowl was designed in the 60s by the renowned art director Flavio Poli.
