1970s Pair of Flavio Poli round sommerso Vase balls - blue and brown
A pair of beautiful petite spherical vases made in the 1970s by designer, Flavio Poli in Venice with Murano glass. These hand-blown vases are wonderful examples of the 'Sommerso' technique, where one layer of molten glass in blown inside another layer. One vase has a dark blue core with turquoise surround and the other and brown core with amber surround. The two pieces have been carefully looked after by their previous owner and are in good condition. A very special pair.
