These wonderful oval / egg shaped Flavio Poli bowls were hand-blown in the 1960s using the sommerso (submerged) technique. On the first one, the surrounding glass is purple with a deep blue core. Remnants of the original 'Murano' sticker are on the base. On the second one, the surrounding glass is pink with a deep red core. These are very special Murano glass bowls in excellent condition considering their age.
