A hand-blown Murano glass picture frame made in the 1940s at the Venetian furnace, Seguso Vetri D'Arte and designed by the great, Archimede Seguso. This is the most beautiful example of this type of frame I have ever seen. It has an incredible thickness and weight to the glass and occasional tiny air bubbles evidencing its hand-blown nature. This beautiful watery turquoise green glass is a rare commodity. The Seguso stamp can be found at the base of the stand. A collector's dream.
